The Twin Room with a private external bathroom had a decent amount of space, and the overall setting added a unique rural charm. It’s a good spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, especially in the off-season when you can enjoy a quieter experience.

The location can be quite challenging to access, especially with a 30-40 minute uphill trek from Inversnaid along rough terrain, and heavy rain can lead to flooded roads, making the journey potentially perilous. The check-in process felt rushed and showed a lack of consideration arriving after a tiring trip. Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout the stay, and the entire experience sometimes felt less inviting than expected, leaving a bit of an unsettling aftertaste.

loch arklet house bed & breakfast is a lovely place surrounded by beautiful nature. the room we stayed in was comfortable and cozy. i especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and well-prepared. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. it was a great spot for us along the west highland way.
