The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of delicious options that made every morning a treat.
The location can be quite challenging to access, especially with a steep uphill trek from Inversnaid that can be exhausting after a long day of travel.

The Twin Room with a private external bathroom had a decent amount of space, and the overall setting added a unique rural charm. It’s a good spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, especially in the off-season when you can enjoy a quieter experience.
The location can be quite challenging to access, especially with a 30-40 minute uphill trek from Inversnaid along rough terrain, and heavy rain can lead to flooded roads, making the journey potentially perilous. The check-in process felt rushed and showed a lack of consideration arriving after a tiring trip. Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout the stay, and the entire experience sometimes felt less inviting than expected, leaving a bit of an unsettling aftertaste.

dear loch arklet house, what a shame my experience fell short. i expected a warm welcome but instead got an exhausted greeting. don’t even get me started on that steep uphill trek, which a ‘quick’ heads-up woudl ve been nice. breakfast choices seemed more like a chore. i almost gave you a good review, but just couldn’t.
